drh. Indah Sekardatu

A stray cat drh. Indah adopted as a child sparked her love for animals as she observed its daily behavior. Today, with more than 14 years of clinical experience, drh. Indah has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine, including castration and ovariohysterectomy, perineal urethrostomy, cherry eye removal, bladder and urethral calculi management, dental scaling, foreign body removal, hernia repair, mammary tumor removal, and cesarean sections. She continues to build her skills through congresses and seminars, including four World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) congresses and trauma surgery training with the Indonesian Veterinary Surgeons Association (ADBVI). This breadth of surgical experience helps drh. Indah manage complex procedures with confidence, giving pet parents assurance about their companion's safety in the operating room. drh. Indah completed her undergraduate and professional veterinary degrees at Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta. She practiced as a senior veterinarian in Jakarta for 12 years, from 2012 to 2024, before joining Modernvet as a senior veterinarian in December 2024. Born in Bandar Lampung, drh. Indah believes being a veterinarian means being a partner to pet parents, helping them find the best solutions for their furry family members' health. In her free time, she enjoys visiting tourist attractions with her family, watching movies, or reading books.
