drh. Caesar's love for animals was clear from childhood, when he kept birds and fish, an interest that grew into a fascination with reptiles such as snakes, lizards, and turtles during his university years. Today, drh. Caesar has a special interest in exotic pets, including reptiles, birds, and small mammals, handling diagnostics, minor surgery, and husbandry and nutrition consultations for their pet parents. He continues to expand his knowledge through courses focused on specialized exotic animal care, and contributed to the successful breeding of the King Bird of Paradise (Cicinnurus regius) during his time at Taman Margasatwa Ragunan. This experience across a wide range of exotic and wild species helps drh. Caesar provide the specialized care these animals often need, giving pet parents confidence in bringing their less conventional companions to the right hands. drh. Caesar completed his undergraduate and professional veterinary degrees at Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya, graduating in 2017. He then served as a veterinarian at Taman Margasatwa Ragunan from 2017 to 2023, while also working as a freelance veterinarian for several mini zoos across the Jabodetabek area. Since 2023, he has continued his career at Jagat Satwa Nusantara, Animalium BRIN, and Modernvet Animal Hospitals, where he focuses on exotic animal care. Born and raised in Madiun, drh. Caesar believes the appeal of exotic animals lies not only in their uniqueness, but also in the surprises found in the process of treating and caring for them.
