drh. Hilmy Luqman Surachmat

drh. Hilmy has always wanted to be a doctor, and his interest in the animal world led him to become a veterinarian. Today, drh. Hilmy has a special interest in small animal medicine, particularly dogs and cats, with a focus on endocrinology and diagnostic radiography. Since joining Modernvet Animal Hospitals, he has taken part in a series of internal training sessions, including seminars on diabetes mellitus, hepatobiliary disorders, Cushing's syndrome, Addison's disease, atopic dermatitis, and ultrasonography of the abdomen, urinary tract, spleen, and gestation. This continuous learning helps drh. Hilmy provide careful diagnosis and treatment for pets, while keeping pet parents informed and at ease about their companion's condition. drh. Hilmy completed his Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine at Universitas Padjadjaran in 2023, and continued the Co-assistance Program of Veterinary Medicine at the same university through 2025. During his studies, he completed several internships, including at Modernvet Jakarta, an animal hospital in Cikole, and the Directorate of Animal Police, before joining Modernvet Animal Hospitals in March 2025. Born and raised in Bandung, drh. Hilmy was active in student organizations throughout his university years, including as Chairman of the Veterinary Medical Student Association (HIMAKH) and Chairman of the Indonesian Veterinary Medical Student Association (IMAKAHI) at Universitas Padjadjaran. He has also published a scientific article on the sedative effect of lemongrass aromatherapy in mice.
