drh. Nur Afzah Zainuddin

drh. Afzah is a veterinarian with a passion for caring for animals, with a special interest in oncology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She began her career early, actively completing internships and working as a paramedic in the small animal practice field even before graduating. She has since gained hands-on experience managing a wide range of complex cases, especially referrals from shelters, including multiple organ failure, reconstructive surgery, and chemotherapy protocols. She has also developed experience in treating small mammals such as rabbits, alongside dogs and cats. She continues to deepen her knowledge through workshops, seminars, and daily clinical practice, including an Oncology Seminar, a Cytology and Clinical Pathology workshop, and an Exotic Animal seminar. This breadth of oncology and surgical experience helps drh. Afzah provide thorough, evidence-based care for animals with complex or serious conditions, giving pet parents confidence in the treatment plan for their companion. drh. Afzah completed her undergraduate and professional veterinary degrees at Universitas Hasanuddin in Makassar, graduating in 2022. She began her career at a shelter clinic in Makassar, before joining Modernvet Animal Hospitals. Born in Makassar, drh. Afzah believes there is always more to learn, and is committed to doing her best to give every patient the care they deserve.
