I was born and raised in Jayapura, then moved to Malang to continue my Veterinary Studies at Brawijaya University. My interest in animals started since I was little. I really like watching National Geographic and have pet chickens and fish. Therefore, after graduating from college I decided to continue my studies in veterinary medicine. While studying in Malang I usually did internships during holidays in several places such as farms, zoos, and animal clinics.

After graduating from college, I got the opportunity for an Internship scholarship to Seoul National University from the International Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology to deepen my knowledge of Veterinary ophthalmology. Since then I have begun to love the science of animal ophthalmology in various animal species. Each animal species has its own unique eyes. Studying ophthalmology makes me more interested in honing my skills in diagnosing and treating animal eyes both medically and surgically. Therefore, to improve my skills in the field of Ophthalmology, I often take several courses and internships abroad, namely in Poland, the US, South Korea, Thailand, and Singapore. My future target is to be able to perform surgery on glaucoma and cataract cases in animals because these cases are quite common and cause animals to lose their sight. I am very happy when I can help my patients to be able to see again and provide a better quality of life for them even though my patients have impaired vision.

Before joining the Modernvet team of doctors, I have worked for approximately 8 years at PDHB Drh. Cucu K Sajuthi. In addition, I am also often asked to be a guest lecturer at Brawijaya University and to be a speaker at several seminars to share my experiences with students and fellow veterinarians. For me, the most important thing in life is when we can share and be useful to others. In between my busy schedule as a veterinarian, I usually relax by traveling, swimming, baking and spending time with my cat, Koko.
